Almost at the final stage of 2016!

Good morning friends, I hope your holidays were great! I have to say how blessed I am for this Christmas was so special! To have both my kids and friends over to share time and space was pure joy!

I already took down the decorations the day after Christmas! Now things are back to normal and waiting to ring in the New Year!

I 'll be watching Ryan Seacrest Rockin Eve from NYC and looking forward to the New Year!

We've been very fortunate to have delightful weather temperatures in the mid 80's! This week coming should come back down to the low 50's! It will be a nice change.

5 days to Christmas Eve!

Good morning friends, I hope and pray you're all well and getting into this hustle & bustle season!

5 days before Christmas Eve, my goodness time has just flown by! I wonder how many of us is really ready for this Christmas!

I am not, but it's going to come with or with out me or presents!

The weather here has been amazing! It's always great to drive out to the Atlantic Ocean and watch the waves come in! The water is a tad bit chilly, and rip currents are high so it's best to stay out of the water. Sure is a stunning way to start the day by the sea!

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

We sure did! What a blessing to be able to cook for Chefs and they truly loved the meal I made! Amen!

My daughter and her team of  Chefs when down to Ft. Lauderdale to the Salvation Army to cook a grand Thanksgiving meal for the homeless. What an honor to witness the good hearts and friendly faces you get to meet and give a special memory's for all. Great honor for sure!

After they all fixed the delicious meal most come up to your house to enjoy our family Thanksgiving! What a treat for me! I just love and adore these fine Chefs... They make our world a better place, filled with joy and laughter. That's what Thanksgiving is all about; family, friends, gathering, worship, food, more food, a time to reflect on kindness and giving back to our communities.

The Macy's Day Parade went off beautifully, the weather was great and so was all the people down at the Parade.. Smiling faces, laughter, joyful music from the high school bands, large balloons, array of musical plays giving a tid bit into their shows.. just a great Parade.

One thing was missing, was my brother... He has been undergoing Chemo for 12 weeks thus far with Stage 4 Bone Cancer...For 14 years Robby has been a Volunteer for the Macy's Day Parade. This year he watched from his home. We all pray that he will be able to return next year to his position as Team Balloon driver. His float this year was Trolls..It was a Beautiful Float!! of course Not much coverage on it, due to the fact that Herald Square had a musical duet signing and Al Roker was interviewing a couple from a show that's new to NBC!! That is one of the my dis likes about the Parade, it's turning more into Musical Show Arena then the actual Parade!! I was watching more of the Parade LIVE with the ABC crew filming it live for it's viewers, than the NBC TV was!! But, I guess that just plugging all the shows that NYC has to offer.

As I rambled on about the parade, my brother is still fighting a fight for his life. I ask you all to send healing energy, positive vibes and prayers for him and his family...I thank you for that!!

Well enjoy the few days left of November, and then the full winter events start to happen! I wish you all joy and peace to the world! Bless you all and may you have a beautiful holiday season!!

Hello friends, I hope this message finds you well and looking forward to this holiday season!

Thanksgiving is almost here, my daughter and son will be once again cooking with her staff at the Salvation Army in Ft. Lauderdale. While they are down there for the day, Molly and I will be watching the "Macy's Day Thanksgiving Parade" and cooking up a storm of goodness!

My brother will not be volunteering as he has for the past 13 years as a balloon handler for the "Macy's Day Thanksgiving Parade"! Due to his Stage 4 Multiple Myeloma! I ask if you all give him prayers and good positive energy as his health  has declined while on Chemo! Hopefully he will be watching on TV!

I'll be cooking, the house will be a delicious scent of Turkey and stuffing as it's in the oven. Yum!

From my family to yours, we wish you all a very merry cheerful holiday season!

At 8 am today, I'll have Joel Osteen on and enjoying his weekly TV Ministry! I feel so much better after I watch and listen to Joel mighty words of God! Amen!!!

My dolphins play today at 4! Go Dolphins!!! My Miami Heat played last night, but the Jazz took home the Win 102-91!

Happy Sunday! My it's already Nov. 6th! I pray that each day gets better and better for each one of us!

Molly is still recovering, hopefully her stitches comes out this Tuesday. Yeah! She can't wait to feel better and start running around the house and outside! She's been a trooper through this ordeal! I believe she is tired of being tired! LOL!!!

I have surgery on Friday, so once that is over, I will be able to recover too! Holiday parties are starting up and that means lots of baking! It really is a pleasure to bake; I do enjoy it! It takes the mind off of the pain! Mostly, the feeling of baking something from scratch and through the process comes out this delicious item, it's just pure joy!

Molly is home!

Hello and Happy Thursday!

Molly is home, feeling a bit worn out with her cone on! She pulled through the reaction from the drug that was used to knock her out for surgery! Thank God she is okay!

I like to thank everyone that sent her prayers and good healing vibes! It all worked!!!

It's almost Halloween and the end of October, goes by so fast, then comes to holiday's!

I ask for Prayers for our dog Molly!

Hello friends, I hope you're all well and enjoying these cooler days!

We had a bit of a snag last night, when Molly was playing she got her foot stuck in couch and pulled her nail off! Blood everywhere, and she was a little bit in pain, she a tough cookie!

I was able to keep her calm and safe until today to call vet's office. He had us come right in, and he began checking her out and come to find out that not only does she have a hanging nail and bone is sticking out, she has allergies to our yard, bushes and trees! Has a sever allergy in her ears too!

He took her back into the room and started the pre-testing before surgery and then the actual surgery. Many hours later the doctor called to say he was keeping her through the night because of the amount to knock her out! He had to watch her through the night to make sure he does not have difficulties breathing, and her heart!

So, I am asking all our friends out there to pray and send healing energy to her while they are thinking of it! She needs all the prayers she can get!

I really appreciate all your kindness and comfort in this time of asking for prayers! God Bless you all!

Hello friends, I pray you're all well and ready for this weekend. I've been going back and forth with tests and procedures and more to still come.

My mind and continued thoughts have been focused on my brother, he was told that he has "stage 3 Bone Marrow Cancer"... OMG!  He has been going for chemo and has a road to travel still. He has a very good outlook and that is a Very Good place to be in!  

I pray all the time, I've even asked God to heal him and let me take this, he is 50 and has two children that are young. He has been an incredible role model, a fabulous father and an awesome husband! Praise God!!

Every year for the past 13 yrs. he has been involved with the "Macy's Thanksgiving Parade" as a balloon handler! He has loved every bit of it! He had to let Macy's know that this year he will not be in the Parade! Corporate balloon team was very kind and sad to hear of his illness! They were kind to say that if he can make it next year his spot will be saved for him! Amen! Thank You God!! 

Our Mother died when she was 52 yrs old with Cancer, and this is the month of "Breast Cancer Awareness" month and that is the month he was told of this bone marrow cancer. Our brother died in the month of May which is "ALS awareness month"! He had ALS! He lived with ALS for two years, then passed away, May 6, 2012. We all miss Rusty so much!

Strength & courage is something with in you; that comes up and out loud and clear when you are faced with life threatening events. I know when I had to wait a month to have a double mastectomy back in 2012; it took me all that month to go through my head as a woman to under go such a terrible loss... of which I really didn't have a support system in check nor did I have my family around. 

But, I knew I had Jesus! I read that Bible over and over again, I watched Joel Osteen over and over again, I watched T.D. Jakes over and over again! Praise God, my strength & courage came out in full armor! Amen!

I feel my brother's strength & courage come out strong, he has his armor on! I know he is fighting this battle but he is not alone!! He has the blood of Jesus run through his veins! Amen! thank you Jesus!

Time is flying by so fast!

The end of summer, the end of September and the beginning of fall! Wow time is flying by so fast!

Greetings friends and welcome once again to my page here at Blogger! I've been busy keeping up with Doctors, testing and procedures! My o My these days are just flying by!

I remember my Mom telling me "Janie Mae, these times are flying by" ! God rest her soul, she passed in 1975! I was always wanting to be older, wiser and full of fun enjoying life! My o My those were the days!

Now I fill my days up with God, practicing patience and believing in restoration and rejuvenation! Amen! It takes time to see the doctors and then wait for approvals from insurance companies to approve the procedure and or test. Patience is at the fore front for sure. Sometimes it takes weeks to get approved and then schedule the test and that too takes time! yikes... sometimes I just want to SCREAM!

Instead I just start praying to God, listening to Joel Osteen and or going into my bible and opening up a Psalm and just reflecting on his goodness through our strife and let it go. Allowing my mind to fill with peace and know that God is working through me and with me to make my crooked place straight! Amen!

I am looking forward to cooler weather! It's the first time in the history of me living in Florida that I'am actually saying that I am looking forward to cooler weather! I'm sure many people have been saying the same! Seems as if this summer was hotter than our normal weather patterns, the humidity was extremely hot!

It's that time again, Medical procedures & medical MRI's!

Well hello and good day to you my friends! I sure hope all is going well and that you're enjoying the slight change in the heather!

I pray you are all well and enjoying the rap up of summer and getting your kids up and out the door for school!

Arrg.. I have been  going to MRI's of the kidneys & bladder and of course the old "colonoscopy"! The time is almost over! Thank God!! I have not eating for quite some time! I am really hungry!!! LOL...

So as I sit here typing: my eyes are getting so sleepy, I hope it continue threw the night!

The Summer went by so fast; all thought it's was my son's fracture of his ankle that kept us all from doing
the fun things that summer as to offer!  It's my "most wonderful time of the world"! lol..

My Birthday was Amazing!

My daughter and son really went above and beyond giving me an amazing Birthday! Praise God!!

It started out watching my early am morning news show WPBF25, Molly and I always watch together with my coffee and of course her kibbles... while watching our news my daughter said to me.."Mom get dressed we are going for a ride"!

oh no, what kind of ride was I in for?? a ride on the wild side or a ride to the nursing home? lol long and behold she drove me to "Girls" Bakery/ice cream shop.. A Mom and Pop totally awesome place! A place where you step back into time as you walk into this shop, there is homemade ice cream parlor along the sides candies of all back in the day types.. the types of candies I grew up on!! Yum! As we were walking all the way to the back of the store, I said to Ashley "I don't think we are allowed back here", she told me to follow her. We walked back outside to a big patio so that you can sit outside and chat while eating your ice cream or pizza!! yum!

Than we strolled down this patio walk way to find a magical forest of Exotic Birds (beautiful) all along the walk way as they call out (Hello)!!! Awesome!! Their was a petting zoo with goats, furry chickens and a large path to continue walking to see more amazing birds, rabbits snakes and lizards!! It's a must see!!!

As we walked out we went to the Bakery side of the store and we walked in to this Delicious fabulous old school bakery with every kind of cakes, pies, cookies and breads while the Chefs are there baking all these fabulous foods right there! Oh glory to God, I just stepped back into time and it was Divine!!!

We orders my Mocha pudding Chocolate cake for my Birthday, plus garlic bread for our dinner, cookies for the ride back home and a few homemade breads too!

There also have a Strawberry patch where you can pick your own Strawberries!! Amazing!!

I can't walk far so we headed back up to house and then had lunch at BJ's Brewhouse in WPB! Delicious!
I had a most awesome day! I thank God for my two adult kids and I praise God for their love of their Mom!

Floods in the South Fires in the West

Dear Heavenly Father, I ask you to watch over your children while these Floods in the South have taken over the towns. Please save each and every one that is effected from these floods, make their homes new and give them strength to carry on while their are displaced. Watch over the animals to find them and re-home them. In Christ Jesus let this be done! Your Will God!

Our friends and families that are in California, God please give them rain and stop the wind from spreading the fires! May they fine hope and peace with in them to recover and replace their homes and their personal belongings. In Christ Jesus let this be done! Your Will God!

Thank you Jesus for hearing these prayers for the healing and recovery of our friends and neighbors near and far! From California to Louisiana!!  Amen  Amen! thank you Jesus!

Count down is on!

                           6 days left to enjoy summer vacation!!! Yikes!!!

Those crazy hazy days of Summer are coming to a close!  That means school bells will be ringing, yellow buses will be clogging our roads, yellow caution 20 miles an hour school zones & crossing guards will be back in swing!  Yikes!

I truly enjoyed driving all around our great towns this summer without those school zones and buses! My days of driving will be only during a few short hours in between the hours while kids are in school!

This summer has been a different kind for sure, my son had an accident while playing basketball early in June and he has been in a boot to keep his ankle safe from the terrible injury he suffered! Physical Therapy three times a week and no driving, no weight on ankle and many ice bags!

Today is the day to go back to surgeon and get an update on his recovery! amen! Probably won't be able to play basketball for a while still. At least we'll find out what he can do and what would be the next step in recovery!

Monday is back to school! Gosh, I really love summer time and yet this year we did nothing to reflex on enjoyment of swimming and going to the beach! Luckily we do live in Florida, so hopefully we can still get some good weather in to do a few cannonballs in the pool! LOL!!

HAPPY AUGUST!

Gosh, I just love August! Probably because it's my Birthday Month!!! I love my Birthday!! Even though I am getting older, and I never really celebrate it to go overboard and have parties or get together's!

I think this year will be a year to celebrate a little differently! Usually I have dinner with family, which is always a great time...But, I think this year has to be a year to really celebrate life, not just my life but life in general!

Times are hard and so much stress all around, that we need more happy in our lives! Yes, I did say "HAPPY IN OUR LIVES"!

I choose to be Happy, my mind, my spirit and my body...though my body has more aches and pains. I could hardly move at times, I choose to be happy! I find great comfort in reading the words of Jesus in our Bible. I also mediate regular. That gives my mind a chance to refuel and regain positive vibes and good thoughts. And I pray "ALL THE TIME"! I am always calling out to Jesus asking him for courage, strength & guidance.

As I hear the news or read something that has taken an awful turn of events, I am right there calling out to Jesus to ask for prayers, protection and healing. As we all know these past few months have been tough on our nation and it's people around the world...

I ask that Peace begin with me! Peace, joy and laughter must be at our fore front of our minds. Our children need our guidance to keep them safe in a world that has grown wild. We are our own happy and joyful ones!

I pray to each one of you reading this message, that may God Bless you and give you strength to feel happy, and let their be peace in your heart to carry you through this wonderful month of August!

Let's make August a great month filled with smiles, joy, laughter and a heart full of love in each and every one of us!! God Bless us all!! In Jesus mighty name!!! Amen, Amen, and Amen!!

My continued prayers for all people & all nations

My emotions have been a train wreak along with everyone else's these past several weeks. My continued prayers for all people and all nations has been an everyday event. I am not complaining, I am simply stating facts that our people and our nations has taken on mass massacres at the hands of demons.

When I listen to the news and the anchor says "this man shot and killed so and so"... or "this man drove a truck through people celebrating their Bastille day".... it hits my last nerve! These are terrible demonic beings! They are not men, man or any good human form of people!They are demons! Though this is my opinion, i am not normally harsh, but, in these days of all these tragic times my mind wonders and fills with empathy and sadness for all the families left with brokenness and death!

My heart swells up with an out pouring of compassion and pure panic over all the lives that were tragically taken away from their love ones much to soon...It's shock, it's awful to even comprehend all those people who have been killed and their families left to pick up their shattered lives over and over again...!

I pray that these violent acts of death shall cease and that mankind can regain it's LOVE for one  another can rise up and touch each one of us as a ONE NATION under GOD!

GOD BLESS our NATIONS and all mankind! LET PEACE BEGIN WITH ME!  I STAND with LOVE!

Once again time is sliding by so fast!

Hello friends, I sure hope you're all having a great summer thus far! Seems as though this month is just passing by fast!

My son hurt his ankle once again playing basketball at his favorite exercise club the other day, so we have been running (him hobbling) LOL.. to doctors & MRI offices to make a diagnosis of the injury! He has been on crutches & trying to stay off his leg!

That's been the hard part keeping him busy without going anywhere or doing anything fun. We'll keep our fingers crossed that he won't need surgery...

I was rooting for Golden State Worriers to win the Basketball final, but they didn't! GSW sure had a great season! Though I love my Miami Heat, GSW is my second fav of basketball teams.  I really hope Chris Bosh will be well and up to playing this new season coming. I really love watching them play. I watch them on TV as often as I can, my daughter and son go down to American Airline Arena to watch them play that's so exciting!  They always bring me back a new shirt! Go Miami Heat!!

Other then keeping up with Molly and now my son, I really don't have any plans for the summer. I would like to take a vacation to Los Vegas for my Birthday, but probably won't happen.. lol..

June is here! Time flying by so fast!

Hi everyone, I hope this post brings great joy to you and your families! I can't believe it's June 10th all ready! Time passes so fast! We've been having lot's of rain from TS Colin & it's bands of rain for several days now, and still some more coming later today and tomorrow! We are going to need a boat to get around! LOL...

Well, I would like to say sorry for not posting sooner, seems as thought the days get away from me pretty fast lately! Besides the rain and keeping this place from over grown trees & shrubs it's getting pretty green outside! Lush tropical gardens is always a pleasure to the eyes!

The Golden State Warriors will be playing Cav's again tonight for the Fourth Game, GSW 2- Cav 1. I pray that GSW will take home the full final games to Win the Championship in Basketball!! My Miami Heat did well even though we had some great team members out with injuries. It was definitely an exciting season as a life long fan to watch all the games this year!

Next up is the Miami Dolphins will be starting in a few months, that will be fun watching those games! The new Stadium will be hosting the Super Bowl in 2020! That's going to be awesome!

The days just go by so fast!

Hello and Hi to my friends! My goodness, the days just go by so fast! It's the end of April, my son just turned 17 the other day! May is just a few days away! My goodness!!

May is just a few days away! I love the month of  May! Flowers bloom people out side tending to their lawns and gardens! The weather seems to be getting hotter than the average weather temps in May (well in So. Fla.) lol..

We sure have had different types of weather patterns lately all around the states. Seems weird to me! lol...

I love the change to day light saving time and the warm weather! Sit outside in patio and listen to all the animals making their noises and chirping! It's very calming (to me)! I hope everyone is having a great early spring time!

I will try to continue to remind myself to stop by here and chat a while. I have not been on this site for a while. sorry... Have a delightful afternoon and I will be back soon!!! Chow for now!!!

One minute your laughing and the very next minute your devastated in shock & numb!

I am sure most people can relate to what I am about to say, I know it's taken me several weeks to even write about this.

One minute your laughing and the very next minute your devastated in shock & numb! What could it be? A tragic event in time take place, you get the call, or you read it on Facebook:  Suicide!

This crushing shocking word that we hear of  "way to often" between the high rollers of actors & singers we also hear that our own close loved ones have taken their own lives!!! Suicide!

WHY?? WHAT COULD I've done to HELP THEM??? HAD I known.... my heart my soul is torn!

My mind is frozen, shock has taken up residence right to the core of my own soul! Suicide! why?

We probably will never be able to get the answers as to why our departed had no other choice expect to kill them selves!! Oh how much this hurts just to type these words. I can only imagine what our dear loved one must have felt in their last few moments before their untimely death! oh it hurts!

It saddened me to my core that our loved one choose to kill himself and leave behind three young children and a loving wife & a thriving restaurant!

My thought is; YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT PEOPLE ARE GOING THROUGH BEHIND CLOSED DOORS!!!

I would have to walk in THEIR SHOES to know their personal business...On the outside looking in, I think Wow!! Your Awesome! Your so Amazing!  Great Husband, Great Dad, Great Chef,/Owner Great Friend, Great person helping with community efforts!! An all around great person!!! So, what makes this type of man lose his own reality? This is so TRAGIC!!! For his family, friends, & his community that loves him so much!  We will never know these questions!

I lift these painful questions to God, for I know he is in everlasting light and peace along side of Christ Jesus & full of eternal Love!  May Dan be lifted up into the arms of Jesus! Amen! xox

For all of us here in the physical world our hearts will continue to have a void a whole that will remain missing our dearly departed Dan!  we love you always & forever Dan.

I like to be kind, considerate and have a smile on my face while I take on the day. It seems to make others happy in that moment when I say, Hello, Good morning etc...they completely take a breath & welcome the idea that someone wished them a nice moment instead of being mean or annoying! lol... I hope more people pass on kindness this year no matter what you feel or are going through, it's a better feeling to be kind then nasty...
